A collaboration with Denis Milovanov was a refreshing experience: it was an exiting comeback to crafts after 10 years of industrial design practice. Any collaboration of designers with different approaches is an attempt to go beyond the ordinary. So, the collection that we have created with Denis Milovanov is an experiment: we've united our skills to achieve something fundamentally new. The result was a unique contrasting combination of copper metal and wood, gloss and texture, flexibility and hardness, elegance and stability

Design process

From the beginning I had the idea to make a collection with a hint of Russian wood tradition but from industrial design stance. The principle is extremely simple: copper details supported by an Oak wooden base to make a strong combination. Collection comprises three types of armchairs, a rectangular table, and a bar stool.
